报告摘要:Our aim in this talk is to discuss the asymptotic behavior of infinite dimensional dissipative autonomous and nonautonomous systems. In particular, we will focus on the notion of exponential attractors that allows to propose a finite dimensional reduction principle for nonautonomous systems.

IntroductionProfessor Alain Miranville is a famous mathematician in PDEs and infinite-dimensional dynamical systems, especially the research on Cahn-Hilliard equations. Professor Alain has got his Ph.D. from University Paris XI supervised by most famous mathematician professor Roger Temam, and now Alain is Distinguished Professor of Applied Mathematics in University of Poitiers, France. Professor Alain has published more than 260 papers in SCI journals with high quality, and served as the editor or editor-in-chief for the journals, such as Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems S, Adv. Nonlinear Anal., Appl. Math. & Optim., Comm. Pure Appl. Anal., J. Nonlinear Funct. Anal., Math. Meth. Appl. Sci., and so on. Professor Alain has won outstanding research award of SIAM in 2019, because of his research in Cahn-Hilliard equations and its applications.
